Programs

AppleTree Prep provides the Athens, Oconee & Watkinsville communities with quality rated child care serving children ages 6 weeks-12 years. Our programs include all day care for children ages 6 weeks-Pre-K, Lottery Funded GA Pre-K classes, After School and Summer Camp programs for school aged children. At AppleTree Prep, we offer more than just daycare. Our staff genuinely cares for our students and will help them develop a lifelong love for learning.

Georgia Pre-K

AppleTree Prep is a proud participant in the Georgia Lottery Funded Pre-K Program. Our program is designed to prepare students academically and emotionally for Kindergarten. These classes follow all guidelines and regulations developed by Bright from the Start. We also offer before and after school care for students in our Pre-K program.

Quality Rated

Our commitment to providing the highest quality of care for our children is evident in our daycare classrooms every day. To prove our commitment to providing quality care, we participate in the Quality Rated program. Our Athens, Bogart & Watkinsville centers have attained a three star quality rated accreditation! We continually make efforts to ensure that we are providing quality programs for our families.

Michelle Cannizzio - Director

Hello! My name is Michelle Cannizzio and I'm the Center Director at Enchanted Forest Academy. I have been the Center Director here for 2 years and in the Early Childhood Education field for over 30 years. I enjoy partnering with both families, staff and children to create an environment that is warm, welcoming and inspiring. I enjoy watching how each child develops and how I and the teachers can play a role in their development.

Kelsi Engleoff - Assistant Director

My name is Kelsi, I have been in the childcare field for just about 7 years. I have obtained my Director's Credential within the last year. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I give your children the same love and support I give my two babies at home.
